The Marked Bible Mission
Founded in 2021.
Our goal is to spread God’s Word in a unique way – a way that encourages people to search for treasures in the Bible for themselves. This mission was started after our founder read The Marked Bible by Charles L. Taylor, and was impressed by the power one mother had in bringing many people to Christ, after her death, through a Bible she had marked.
The team at The Marked Bible Mission marks Bibles “precept upon precept” and “line upon line; here a little, and there a little” in 8 different colors for different topics. Then we go forward spreading God’s Word and claiming the promise, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
A preview of the story.
A book for Youth+. The story of a drunkard and a criminal who wanted nothing to do with religion. His Christian mother placed a marked Bible in his luggage just before he went out to sea. While on the ship, in a moment of anger, he threw the Bible far out into the sea. After his mother died, he found a marked Bible, just like his previous one. A man told him to take it, that it was “marked for him.” On the ship, he met a missionary. Many people on the ship became involved in a continuing Bible study, although, some pastors disagreed with the missionary. One day, a lady fell overboard and was drowning. What happens next?
